Jeep tour along Penjikent, Dushanbe and Khujand

Itinerary: Samarkand –Uzbek/Tajik border “Jartepo”/”Sarazm” – Penjikent - Anzob Pass –
Dushanbe – back through two passes Anzob and Shakhristan pass 3378m. –
Istaravshan (formerly Ura-Tube) –Khujand -Tajik/Uzbek border “Oybek”- Tashkent

Duration: 5nights/6 days.

Day 1 - meeting on the border in Penjikent, transfer to Penjikent and accommodation in home
stay. SS around ancient town Penjikent visit to museum and ancient Sogdian town
and ruins. Lunch and dinner in Penjikent. SS a round Penjikent, lunch and then drive
to mountain to the "Seven beautiful lakes " places and stay in the tent the near bank of
6-th lake. In a dinner time we talk about Itinerary. Overnight in the tent.

Day 2 - After breakfast short SS a rounding and then drive from "Seven beautiful lakes " to
Iskanderkul lake though mountain road, lunch on the way and and overnight in tour
base camp "Iskanderkul" dinner and rest.

Day 3 - Short SS surrounding Iskanderkul lake by foot and with Russian Jeep and then drive to
Dushanbe, lunch on the way and arrive in Dushanbe at 18-00 and accommodation in
hotel, dinner and rest.

Day 4 - Full day SS surrounding Dushanbe and also in outside to visit Hissar fortress and back
to hotel, dinner and rest.

Day 5 - after breakfast early in the morning drive to Khujand through two passes:
1st Anzob pass H-3373 m and 2nd Shakhristan pass H 3378 m lunch on the way before
the 2nd pass an arrive in Khujand at 20-00 PM and accommodation in hotel "Sino"
dinner and rest.

Day 6 - after breakfast short time SS around Khujand visit to very ancient places "Timurmalik
fortress" , bazaar "Panjshanbe" lunch and after drive to border "Oybek" at 15-00 The
finish Tajik part and crossing through border and drive to Tashkent.
