The Great Silk Road Tour 1

ITINERARY:   Samarkand – Jartepo – Penjikent– Khujand- Oybek border – Tashkent

Duration: 2 days.

 Day 1  -    pick up group on the Uzbek/Tajik border between Samarkand-Penjikent

                  “Jartepo” at  8-00 AM. Crossing  through border and then transfer to Penjikent

                   and from there to Khujand.  In Penjikent  short SSK and then drive to

                  Khujand through mountain road  Zerafshan gorge, lunch on the way and also

                  crossing though Shakhristan pass (H3378m.)  and Istaravsha  and arrive in

                  Khujand at 19-30 PM, accommodation in  hotel “SINO”, dinner and rest.

Day 2  -    After breakfast at 7-00 A.  SS around ancient part of Khujand and visit to Timurmalik fortress 11-12 cc and Medresse Shaikh Muslehiddin, Bazaar Panjshanbe and lunch after  drive to the Tsjik/Uzbek border “Oybek”  at 15-00 AM

              and finish Tajikpart
